Her strong foundation in sports physiotherapy was shaped during her internship with the GWS Giants strength and conditioning team, and her clinical expertise spans managing sporting injuries, chronic pain, neurological conditions, hand injuries, and pre- and post-operative rehabilitation.
Riva’s treatment philosophy is rooted in empowering her clients through education and evidence-based practices. She focuses on addressing the root cause of issues and equipping her clients with the tools and knowledge to achieve optimal recovery and long-term well-being.
With a deep understanding of athletic performance, Riva specialises in strength and conditioning, biomechanics, and injury prevention. She is skilled in hands-on techniques such as soft and deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, cupping, and dry needling. By combining these approaches with individualised exercise programs and clinical Pilates, Riva ensures her clients achieve their goals safely and effectively, whether recovering from an injury or enhancing their performance.
Riva is committed to fostering holistic health and supporting her patients in returning to the activities they love most.
Outside the clinic, Riva enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active at the gym, and practicing Pilates.
